Suzie Dods

Suzie is a swim legend, marathon swimmer, and coach who leads an annual swim adventure in Greece. She started the 24 Hr Swim relay in 2013. You can hear the whole story from her about how and why on this edition of the Dolphin Club’s 2000 Stories podcast.

Our Story

Suzie handed over her organizing flippers in 2026 to Pia Hinckle, Elaine Van Vleck, and Crissa Williams, all 24-Hr Relay Swim veterans (Go Octopods!) and friends of Suzie. Our goal is to continue the relay with her same spirit of inclusiveness, goofiness, and community. Join us!
