24-Hr Swim Relay

Weirdly Fun
Strangely Doable

Not a race. Not a fundraiser. Just fun.

Each relay team has a swimmer in the water from 9 a.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday during winter in San Francisco’s Aquatic Park. Make your own team or ask to be placed with one. Swim as long or short as your team likes. Swim in a wetsuit or naked with a rubber dolphin strapped to your cap.

All are welcome.

What You Should Know

Annual event usually held last weekend of January or first weekend of February.
Participants must be 18 years or older.
Event takes place rain or shine.
Registration costs $140/swimmer and closes when we reach 75 swimmers. A meal and snacks are included. Camp-style sleeping area is provided.
San Francisco Bay water temperatures average 51 degrees in winter, so plan accordingly with acclimation, wetsuit, or both.
