Suzie is a swim legend, marathon swimmer, and coach who leads an annual swim adventure in Greece. She started the 24 Hr Swim relay in 2013. You can hear the whole story from her about how and why on this edition of the Dolphin Club’s 2000 Stories podcast.
Our Story
Suzie has handed her organizing flippers over to Pia Hinckle, Crissa Williams, and Elaine Van Vleck, all 24 Hr Relay Swim veterans (Go Octopods!) and friends of Suzie. Our goal is to continue the relay with her same spirit of inclusiveness, goofiness, and community. Join us!
Inspiration
“Weirdly fun and strangely doable” was immortalized by relay swimmer, writer, and artist Claire Perry in a 2024 keepsake she designed and printed for participants.
